With a whole 150 years of company history, we at Leonhard Lang are a true family business in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps. Today, we develop and produce electrode systems in medical technology that are used all over the world.
From a paper manufacturer, we have evolved into a medical technology company that is critical to the health of countless patients today. Paper manufacturer? That's right. We started out as a paper mill in 1872. It wasn't until 111 years later, in 1983, that the new "medical technology" branch of our business was founded, and with it the start of ECG electrodes. Since then, we have been growing steadily, so that our team now consists of more than 400 employees. The entire Leonhard Lang team works with great commitment to produce medical products of the highest quality. Our motivated and well-trained employees are guided by experienced and long-standing managers. The consistent implementation of our values such as quality, fairness and customer satisfaction is our top priority. Our experts from the fields of medical technology, chemistry, biology, physics, mechanical engineering and process engineering implement our customers' product ideas using reliable methods. And we really do deliver everything - from prototypes to production equipment to fully developed series products. Our focus is on medical hydrogels and adhesive gels, electrical signal transmission and stimulation, as well as wearables and health patches.
